Okay, after the reboot, the delay when pressing F5 to start and stop is mostly gone. So, maybe that鈥檚 all it took.
I had a couple of feature requests I鈥檇 love to throw out there, Yousif Astarabadi. One is a request to be able to disable the Escape or Return keys. I鈥檇 personally disable the Return key for ending a recording and just leave it with F5. I don鈥檛 mind having the Escape key for canceling a recording, although I鈥檇 like to be able to not have that as well, by choice.
The other feature request is a little nuanced, but I would love it if, when you鈥檙e doing auto-insertion, you save what鈥檚 currently on the clipboard, paste in the transcript or ghostwriting output, and then put back the clipboard to whatever was there before. Again, in my workflow, I鈥檓 often speaking for a while (like I am in this message), flipping between tabs, and sometimes I鈥檒l copy a URL into my clipboard for pasting after the TalkTastic insert. Every time the clipboard is replaced with the TalkTastic output, it鈥檇 be great to maintain consistency. Maybe this is an advanced option, or maybe it鈥檚 just a default.
