User Feedback: Suggestions for Improving Talktastic Experience
Hey Matt Mireles! Long-time user, first-time contributor here. Love the product when it鈥檚 working - it鈥檚 fantastic! 馃檶 Got a few suggestions about some minor annoyances that slow me down: 1. Keyboard shortcut issue: ~50% of the time when I activate Talktastic, it seems to register as a hold instead of a start. Recording closes after 1-2 seconds, leaving me with a blank expansion and having to restart. 2. Prompt customization: Would love even just one main system prompt to handle basics - like telling the AI that my assistant鈥檚 name is Kristina (with a K, not C). Currently have to correct this spelling in nearly every output. 3. Random Welsh language bug: Sometimes my transcript randomly switches to Welsh (which I don鈥檛 speak 馃槄). It鈥檚 hit-or-miss whether it converts back to English or tries to paste Welsh into my editor. Verified via Google Translate that it鈥檚 actually capturing my English speech, just with translation issues. Quick note on microphone recognition: Updated yesterday, but previously had issues with mic detection despite it working in other apps. Current workaround: removing device from system settings, closing Talktastic, reconnecting, and reopening. You鈥檙e crushing it with this product, Matt - can鈥檛 wait to be a paying customer! 馃挭
