I had this same issue yesterday. I removed the app completely and reinstalled it from the website.

So far today, no issue. I got the same pop up, when clicking OK, nothing happened. Been working today a few hours without issue.

i did what barney did. i tried your method Matt, but it still wasn't updating (at least far as I could tell) and I couldn't turn on speech recognition manually. but I deleted the whole thing and installed from the website and it looks like I'm on the latest version and things are working
