Just updated to the latest version of macOS and I can no longer see the purple toolbar in the middle when activated. I can see the microphone icon in orange in the menu bar though.
Do you see the TalkTastic menu bar app in your menu bar? It should be the TalkTastic logo. The orange icon is the system notification that the microphone is on and recording. If you have a small screen or too many menu bar apps, they might get pushed to where the physical webcam notch is in the menu bar. If TalkTastic was there before and isn't now, you might have an issue. I'd recommend restarting your computer and seeing if that helps. We're currently updating our app architecture to fix this problem. It's related to how we have a TalkTastic accessory app and desktop app that communicate with each other. When the accessory app (the menu bar app) crashes, it can cause issues. In our upcoming app release, which we're currently QA testing, we're unifying this into a single app. This should address the issue at its core. Let me know if restarting works.
I'm on macOS 15.1, and can't seem to reproduce this. If you try to record like normal (pressing your shortcut again to stop recording), do the transcript and rewrite windows appear? Or is it completely blocked?
