Franco-Brazilian Entrepreneur Building AI Tool for Data Insights

·

Hey hey, I’m a Franco-Brazilian, wrapping up what I hope will be my final corporate role. For the past six years, I worked in finance across Paris and London, gaining a lot of experience with data in general. Now, I’m building a tool to help people extract complex insights from CSVs, JSON, and databases in minimal time, with a focus on business rules and goals, using AI. This community has been inspiring—I’m excited to connect with other entrepreneurs, share a bit of my journey, and learn about yours. Thanks to Matt for creating this space! Feel free to connect with me on LinkedIn: https://www.linkedin.com/in/t%C3%A1ssio-noronha-37a42797 Looking forward to getting to know you all!

Tassio, dude, great to have you here! Super cool that you're exiting corporate life. Your tool sounds like something I could totally use, to be honest. I've been using Gemini 1.5 Pro to analyze massive CSVs and JSONs with its 2M token context window. I'm curious - are you using a RAG approach, or are you just throwing everything into the context, or maybe some hybrid of the two?

I'm super curious about something – as a Franco-Brazilian using TalkTastic, what language do you speak in? French, Portuguese, English, or a mix? We're working on training new speech-to-text models and discussing how to handle multilingual speakers. Do you find yourself switching between languages when you talk? What's your primary language when using it, and does English factor in? Really interested to hear about your experience!

Oh, thats nice to hear 🙂 How your experience analyzing massive files with Gemini are doing so far? Not struggling when we have complex insights which demands more transformation and cleaning of your data? Being honest, there's almost no data in the context. I focus to enrich the context more with business understanding about the data. It's kind a create a semantic DDL, then extract from this point is easier. Im focus now in cases where friends who has business has struggles to do that using chatgpt, but happy to benchmark gemini limitations too 🙂 And yes, sometimes i even forget that TalkTastic is more about English, but eventually i also speaking in portuguese and french and all good. Im positively surprise with this multi language support and the reactivity time. And my main language still English using TT.
